Our story
...so far
Reyllen was born out of our local CrossFit community in Southampton, England, back in 2017. It was there that we experienced firsthand how powerful the CrossFit methodology can be — transforming the lives of everyday people into stronger, fitter, and more active individuals.
In those early days, there wasn’t much on offer when it came to training equipment for athletes of all levels. One struggle we all shared was the endless hand tearing — a near-weekly ritual that came with the growing complexity and volume of gymnastic work.
Determined to find a solution, we set out to create hand protection that could withstand the demands of daily training. Our first grips were made of leather — decent, but far from exceptional. Fast forward through countless design trials, material tests, and real-world feedback, and in 2019, we introduced the BumbleBee Grips — which went on to top Jacob Heppner's “Great Grips Dispute” review.
That moment kickstarted Reyllen. Fueled by the trust and feedback from our community, we continued to refine, improve, and expand our product range. The journey hasn't been smooth — we’ve made mistakes, faced setbacks, and learned countless lessons along the way. But at our core, we never settled.
