Wrist bands for functional fitness athletes who want sweat off their hands and a little cushioning at the wrist. They do two jobs: absorb sweat before it reaches the palms, and add a layer of coverage under gymnastic grips.

That second job is what makes them more useful than a generic sweatband. Keeping sweat off the hands supports grip confidence in hot or high-output sessions, and the light compression cuts friction at the wrist for athletes who wear grips regularly.
